Summary: No matter how much he already know about the other man, every day now seemed like a fresh new relationship …

Epiphany

He walked lonely over the uninteresting streets of the crowded city. Every day seemed more grey and cold than the previous, and even them he couldn’t careless. His minds drifting back, once and in a while, to the welcoming warmth of the last night memories.

The steps could have been counted one by one if they were half as important as the fact that only a little more were expected until he could meet with his newest point of obsession. No matter how much he already know about the other man, every day now seemed like a fresh new relationship, like the long time friendship had been erased to give birth to a fresh new one, one far more deep and wanted.

He left a soft sight escape his lips while letting himself think how lucky he was to have discovered this so much bright side of the tempestuous life they all live at being a rock star. The never ending days of touring or recording would surely seem welcoming now, when he knows for sure that he would never feel lonely or sad.

He was brought back to reality from his wandering mind by a pair of glove covered hands setting a soft warm cloth around his neck. Turning around he found the shorter man looking at him, a playful smile on that thin lips and a questioning gaze pointed at him.

- You always forget your scarf.

He laughed freely and realized that nothing could show how much they seem to know each other than the fact that the other guitarist has brought with himself a spare scarf, simply because he knew Die would forget his.

- That’s because I know you would remember it for me.

The silly grin that planted itself in the blonds face showed how amused he was to the fact that he was truly right, and that no matter how many other times the older man would scold him about forgetting the little article of cloth he would always bring a spare one for him.

- I can’t help myself to the fact that I don’t want my man freezing his ass off.
- My man, huh ?
- Yeah, my man, Die. Do you know him? That ‘red-haired gone blond’ guitarist that play on that band… Dir en grey, I guess. Do you have anything against it ?
- Of course not, I’m totally fine at being yours, Kao.

Neither man could suppress the giggles at the playful bickering, and obviously, neither of then could hide the satisfied smile that they shared afterwards either.

They were totally fine at being one another’s.
